Latest Update - 2nd July, 2009 The 2009/2010 Post UME Screening Exercise has been postponed indefinitely.
In view of the on-going nation - wide industrial strike action embarked upon by the various unions on campus, the authorities of the University of Port Harcourt regret to notify all candidates that the earlier advertised dates for the Post - UME Screening exercise scheduled to hold between Monday, 6th and Saturday, July 11, 2009, have been postponed until after the strike action.
However candidates who have not concluded their online registration process for the screening exercise should do so at www.uniport.edu.ng not later than Friday, 10th July, 2009.
All candidates are here by assured that a new date for the Post – UME screening exercise will be announced in due course. The university deeply regrets the inconvenience this post ponement may cause candidates preparing for the exercise.

The University of Port Harcourt hereby invites candidates who chose University of Port Harcourt as their 1st and/or 2nd choice in the 2009 Universities Matriculation Examination (UME) with a score of 200 and above for Dentistry, Engineering, Management Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and Social Sciences; 180 and above for others to a screening exercise scheduled as follows:

Candidates for PUME who paid through First Bank Nig Plc from 23 June to 1st July, 2009 should go back to First Bank Nig Plc, choba branch with a copy of their Jamb result slip for a refund of N200.00 overpaid to the bank.
