University of Port Harcourt

Established in August 2005, the Faculty of Agriculture is the youngest faculty in the University of Port Harcourt, one of the leading centres of learning in Sub-Saharan African.

Currently there are four departments in the Faculty of Agriculture:

• Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension
• Department of Crop and Soil Sciences
• Department of Forestry and Wildlife
• Department of Animal Science and Fisheries
