DR.  EMEKA NKORO

Dr. Emeka Nkoro is a senior lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, where he obtained his Ph.D. in Economics. He holds additional certifications in Monetary Policy Analysis and Forecasting from the International Monetary Fund’s learning initiative, as well as in Data Science: Linear Regression from Harvard University’s learning initiative.

Dr. Nkoro’s teaching and research interests span across monetary economics, economic theory, financial economics, Public sector economics and econometrics. He has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed and high-impact journals, as well as contributed to conference proceedings. His scholarly contributions are recognized both domestically and internationally, reflected in his membership in various professional associations.

Currently, Dr. Nkoro serves as a reviewer/associate editor/editorial board member for several esteemed journals, contributing to the advancement of economic research and discourse. His dedication to academia and research underscores his commitment to enhancing understanding and practices in economics and related fields at the University of Port Harcourt and beyond.

Dr. Nkoro is a member of Board of Governors, University Demonstration Primary School (UDPS), University of Port Harcourt.
