197th lNAUGURAL LECTURE

I write to inform members of the University Community that the 197th Inaugural  Lecture  of the University of Port Harcourt has been scheduled to take place on Thursday, 13th March, 2025 at the CBN Centre of Excellence Building, University Park, by 3.00pm.

The lecture titled : “NIGERIAN ART: A SILVER THREAD THROUGH THE AGES” will be delivered by:

Department of Fine Arts and Design
Faculty of Humanities

under  the  distinguished  Chairmanship  of  Professor  Owunari  A.  Georgewill,  Vice-Chancellor, University of Port Harcourt.

Guests are expected to be seated by 2.45 p.m. as the academic procession of the Lecturer will begin at 3.00 p.m. The General Public, Staff and Students are by this circular please invited to this important University Ceremony.
