Professor Adedamola Olutoyin Onyeaso

Adedamola Olutoyin Onyeaso, Professor of Health Education, Department of Health Promotion, Environmental and Safety Education, Faculty of Education, University of Port Harcourt, obtained her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Health Education from University of Ibadan, and her PhD from the University of Port Harcourt. She is also a Registered Nurse and Midwife, with an award as the Best-Behaved Midwifery student in her graduating class at UCH Ibadan (1991). She is an American Heart Association (AHA)-certified Instructor in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.  In 2018, she won the World Championship in Health Education (CPR Skills) and became a Fellow at the Directorate of Health Education, International Agency for Standards and Ratings (IASR).  She was conferred with the honorary degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in 2019 by the IASR. Professor A.O. Onyeaso has over sixty publications and has held several positions and appointments in the Department, Faculty and the University including Associate Dean students Affairs, Matron Red Cross, among others. She is happily married to Professor Chukwudi O. Onyeaso of the Faculty of Dentistry, College of Health Sciences, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and they are blessed with successful children.

Dr Mainasara Dajen Gwotmut

Dr Mainasara Dajen Gwotmut, Lecturer  Department of Sport and Exercise Science, Faculty of Education,  University of Port Harcourt. 

Exercise physiology Major, hold a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (Unizk). 

A Master Degree in Human Kinetics and Health education with a speciality in Exercise Physiology from the University of Port Harcourt and other qualifications. 

A  Licence member of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Fellow of Nigeria Institute of Science laboratory Technologist (FISLT), Fellow Institute of Policy Management and Leadership Development (IPMLD), Associate, Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN), Member National Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technologists (MNIBET) and a Member, National Association of Sport Science and Medicine (MNASSM). 

An author of three books, with many research publications in reputable journal both locally and internationally. Special focus is on Safety in sport, Recreational Exercise, Rehabilitation and Experimental Research in sport.
